Creating a Product

If you regularly invoice for the same products or services, adding them as products in LoveInvoice will save you time and ensure consistency across your invoices.

Adding a Product

Navigate to the Products section from the main menu and click "Add Product". You'll need to provide:

  • Name - A clear name for your product or service (e.g., "Web Design Package" or "Monthly Consultation")
  • Description (optional) - Details about what's included
  • Price - The standard price you charge
  • Currency - The currency for this price

Product Types

Products can represent physical items you sell, services you provide, or even bundles that include multiple items. Use them however makes sense for your business.

Using Products in Invoices

When you create an invoice, you can select from your saved products instead of typing out details each time. This is particularly useful if you have:

  • Standard service packages with fixed prices
  • Physical products with consistent pricing
  • Retainers or recurring services

Editing Products

If you need to update a product's details or price, find it in your products list and click "Edit". Changes you make will apply to future invoices but won't affect invoices you've already sent.

With products set up, you're ready to create and send your first invoice. If you haven't already, make sure you've added your clients so you can select them when invoicing.
