Client Analytics

Each client profile in LoveInvoice includes analytics and history to help you understand your relationship with that client.

Viewing Client Analytics

When you click on a client's name, you'll see an overview with key metrics:

  • Total Revenue - The total amount this client has paid you
  • Total Invoices - The number of invoices sent to this client
  • Total Payments - The number of payments received from this client

These metrics give you a quick snapshot of your business relationship with the client.

Invoice History

The client profile shows all invoices sent to that client, including:

  • Invoice number
  • Issue date
  • Due date
  • Amount
  • Status (draft, sent, paid, overdue, etc.)

You can click on any invoice to view its details or make changes.

Payment History

All payments received from the client are listed in their profile, showing:

  • Payment date
  • Amount
  • Payment method
  • Which invoice the payment was applied to

This helps you track payment patterns and identify any outstanding payments.

Using Client Analytics

Client analytics help you:

  • Identify your best clients - See who generates the most revenue
  • Track payment patterns - Understand which clients pay promptly
  • Spot issues early - Identify clients with overdue invoices
  • Make business decisions - Use data to inform pricing, terms, and relationship management

Notes on Historical Data

Analytics and history are based on invoices and payments recorded in LoveInvoice. If you've recently migrated from another system, historical data from before the migration won't appear unless you manually import it.
